I am Carolina Reviglio. A carefree childhood in the Piedmonte countryside, with many cousins and friends. With a passion for culture instilled from an early age, my Venetian grandmother was a primary influence. I feel very much at home in Venice. Travels far and wide, some schooling in the United States, and living from the north to south of Italy. I've explored most of it. My country is rich in heritage, but poor in the pocket to keep it so. It saddens me to see so many buildings in a state of disrepair. I've honed the skills of renovation since 1987. I learned by trial and error, spurned on by failure and success. I've grown and prospered. Now is the time to give back. Helping artisans of all disciplines to find work and ply their trade with pride. Matching projects to professionals and vice versa, ArtAcadia.org is my contribution to this cause. Encouraging Heritage Ambassadors around the globe, to take our past into the future!

I first set out to travel the world in 1986. Exploring many places, experiencing various cultures and tracing my own heritage. Traveling through life is a personal journey in body, mind and soul. While we may not always know what lies ahead, one thing is for sure... we all come from somewhere. With a good understanding of our past, it's easier to embrace the future. One step at a time, meandering with meaning, navigating as we go along. Getting lost is a bonus. After all, it's just a place we have not been to before. That said, life is short... and I now find myself more discerning when choosing a route. The ArtAcadia.org path is unique and interesting. Lined with limitless possibilities. It's a good way to give back. As a Heritage Ambassador, I look forward to helping others forge their way to a fabulous future!
